Bee 52 publisher:Camerica programmer:Codemasters release:1992 players:1 or 2 graphics:7 sound:8 play control:8 replay value:9 This is a good game for being unlicensed. The idea is to play as a bee collecting honey. Well, it sounds easy. On the way you have caterpillars, ants, moths, spiders, lightning bugs, and spiders trying to stop you. But you do have your defenses- a downward sting( remember the downward thrust from Zelda 2?) and you can shoot at your enemies. You fly through the levels, going at your own speed and can hover anywhere on the screen. Killing a lightning bug gets you one of many special weapons, ranging from 3-way shot to a bomb which kills all on the screen. The game itself was done by 3 people. From the beginning of the game, designes and programmed:Jonathan Menzies, Graphics:Paul Perrott, music: Gavin Raeburn. Unfortunately, the label art may sway you from buyibg it. The label art really doesn't do the game justice at all. final rating: get it
