| The NEScene Network is a ring I am creating to bring the many NES sites and gamers closer together. There are several reasons that I think this is needed. First, there are many good NES sites out there made by people who aren't "active" in the NES community. This is fine in itself, but it is possible that these sites have not been linked by others. This could be because they aren't involved in any of the NES chats or message boards (so we never find out the sites exist). There are 50+ NES sites out there, and I have talked to the creators of about 20. I think we're missing something here. I'm sure all of us want to meet new people! | |
| Second of all, unity is what it's all about. The more people that are involved, the more fun it will be for everyone. What could be better that having our own little "world" on the web? It's definately better than cottage cheese =) . Finally, there have been too many fights going on in the NES community as we know it. I myself have been involved in a number of them, and let me tell you, they utterly suck. What's the point of fighting on the net or over IRC (Internet Relay Chat) anyway? Are we really that bored? I know I'm not. If we get to know eachother and learn to put our petty little differences behind us, we could get things back to how they were when NES Nation started up. |  |
