From 1983-1992 over five hundred NES
games were produced. Many of these games were good, but
there are some that stand above the rest. These games
listed are in my opinion the greatest games ever produced
in history. You may agree with me, you may not, but the
fact is these games are good and will forever stand in
our minds as the games that made the NES the success it
was. |
Now how am I supposed to pick the best
ten NES games of all time? Is it possible? Well I'm going
to try. I know the obvious such as The Legend of Zelda
and Super Mario Bros., but how the rest? Well I got out
my old copies of Nintendo Power and Electronic Gaming
Monthly and looked up highest sellers, highest ratings,
and which games had the biggest "hype". I also
used some simple reasoning as to which games were best.
Even though Super Mario 3 was the highest individual
seller, games like Castlevania 2 and Blaster Master have
much higher replay value, so they were listed before
SMB3. So here they are. If you don't see one of your
favorites here don't get moody, you can always make your
own little shrine. |
